    hello there
    i have few question
    if i bought hostinger hosting and domain name do i still have to buy wordpress plan ?
    if yes why ? i bought hosting and my domain, why do i need to pay wordpress
    to use it ?

    and if i bought wordpress plan does it involve hosting ? or i have to buy hosting outside of wordpress ?

    Good Morning –

    These are great questions, so thanks for writing in to us.

    It might be helpful first if I explain what we are and what we do at WordPress.com. This is a managed environment. That’s different from what you’d get with another hosting provider like Hostinger.

    This means that we handle all the back end details of the site. Things like back ups, updates, security, spam, seo, ssl, mobile optimization, top notch hosting specs, and sorting out any errors or bugs that pop up along the way. This is built in to our product. You pay for each of these add ons with another host, you also have to research which option is best, etc.. When you run a stand alone WordPress installation, like what y’all will have set up on Hostinger then all of those details fall on to you – so instead of being able to focus on content you spend a ton of time and frustration fixing these sort of issues.

    Now getting back to your question. If you buy a domain, and hosting through Hostinger then no, you do not need a WordPress.com hosting plan. You would be running and managing your own WordPress installation.
