  Good morning, I recently cancelled the renewal of my bluehost subscription and now I need help with a couple things. One I need to figure out how to transfer hosting back to WordPress before the August 12th cancellation. I used to have a $35/month plan. Also, every since I cancelled the renewal my wordpress looks extremely weird. It says temp user and I can only log in with email and password. Using yourrainyday as username doesn’t work. Please help. Thank you.

  Good morning, I recently cancelled the renewal of my bluehost subscription and now I need help with a couple things. One I need to figure out how to transfer hosting back to WordPress before the August 12th cancellation.

  Ok, so to check, do you still have access to the site via WP-Admin?

  If yes, it would be possible to migrate the site over to WordPress.com using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/ and the process is completely automated.

  Secondly, do you have a domain in mind for the site? And if yes, is this in use with any custom email solutions? The reason why I ask is because you may need to either connect or transfer the domain over to WordPress.com, and this can be done in such a way as to not disturb any email hosting or the live site.

  We’re able to provide some clear steps on how you would proceed.

  Lastly, to note, in order to migrate a self-hosted site onto WordPress.com, there would need to be a WordPress.com Business plan in place.
