  Hi I was just speaking with someone and I purchased an Explorer plan using a domain that I have with register.com

  I don’t understand how the hosting works though. Why is my site not live with wordpress?

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  I’ve checked it, and the domain alignasmile.com is already connected and loading the contents of your WordPress.com site alignasmile.wordpress.com

  The site alignasmile.wordpress.com is where your WordPress.com content is actually hosted. Domains like alignasmile.com are just labels that you can attach or detach from sites.
  
  Your visitors will see alignasmile.com when browsing your site.
