Hello! I recently set up a wordpress theme and purchased a domain name through wordpress (hopenicole.com). I then purchased a theme from creativemarket.com. Me and the designer of the site are in the midsts up setting it up (they do all the work for me). This is our conversation. Just want to know if you will think it will still work even though I don’t have a “hosting plan”.

MAELSTROM – Hello. I will setup the theme for you as in the demo! Please provide The wordpress login details (username and password). If you didn’t install yet wordpress on your host please provide the host login details so i can do it!
HOPE HELMER – My WordPress login info is: User name: Also, (bear with me) I’m not sure what you meant about host. All I have is a wordpress account as of now (and my own domain – hopenicole.com) Thanks for your patience!
MAELSTROM -Hello! The bad news is that you don`t have a hosting plan and I’m not sure if you have your own domain and where is it if you have. We need your Skype so I can explain you better!
HOPE HELMER – When I signed up with wordpress it comes with a “wordpress.com” site, I then upgraded and paid for a “.com” site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Please change your password immediately. This is a public forum thread and anyone can see this. I have already removed it from your post above. You can change it by following these instructions below:

    Passwords

You can also change your password from the Settings tab on the WordPress.com home page:

    https://wordpress.com/#!/settings/

If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password by entering your email address here:

    http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive an email during the reset process, so please make sure you read it for instructions. If you don’t receive the email right away, check your spam folder as well because the confirmation email can end up there.

Once you’ve reset your account password, you can see our suggestions for choosing a strong password here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/

Also, I believe there is a misunderstanding between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.

Check here to learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Currently you have a WordPress.com site, but it looks like the designer is misunderstanding it for a WordPress.org site.
