  i have a godaddy hosting account and was using the basic wordpress.org dashboard but, i have the need to upgrade, i don’t want my wordpress.com account hosted though wordpress.com. i want to be able to host the site on my own hosting account with the features that are offered with wordpress.com upgrade. i paid the 12 dollars to have it mapped but, i now have lost all of my old posts when i changed the namesevers to wordpress’ and i can’t seem to figure out how to link the new dashboard to my existing website.

  The process required to move content out of a free hosted WordPress.com blog and into a WordPress.org install is found here. Have you moved the content yet or not? As afar as getting support for setting up your WordPress.ORG install we do not provide that here. That’s provided at http://wordpress.ORG/support/
