  Hello,
  So I keep watching tutorials on youtube on how to make a good business website using wordpress such as this one:

  But I am unable to find the “Vantage” theme, or adjust plugins or really do anything to make my site look anything like his. Or really just to look anything like not a blog. I want a professional looking website and not a blog.

  Is it possible to switch my hosting to hostgator.com so that I can use that version of wordpress without having to upgrade to premium for $99?

  I want to use wordpress, but I am having a hard time making it work for me the way I want it to. Please offer any suggestions!

  Hi Jake.

  The YouTube tutorial that you linked to offers guidance for people with self-hosted sites that run off the free software available at WordPress.org. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org are two different entities.

  At WordPress.com, we’re offer a shared hosting environment that has a lot of built-in features for users to create sites. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their sites. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.

  WordPress.com does have a lot of built-in features and there’s a good chance that you can achieve what you’re after here. We have a few tips on how you could create a Business site directly through us here:

  We also have some free Business themes, such as Edin, that could work nicely for you.
