Hosting a Blog?

  Hey guys, well now that iv tried out WordPress and other blogging host, i believe that WordPress offers me the best option for a website. Now im looking for a host, I live in Toronto Canada and unfortunatly i have no access to a credit card, bank account or ect. All i have is cash. Is there a way to host my website by using visa gift cards? I would like to have my own domain and be able to customize my themes, css, content, plugin’s and ad’s but i can not pay for the hosting service in any payment except for cash. This is mostly because i am under 18 and my parents will not use their cards. Is there a recommended host which will accept visa gift cars. Is this what they accept or am i missing something. Thank you.

  You need to be asking over at WordPress.org; here at WordPress.com all our blogs are hosted by WordPress itself for free.

  Most Visa Gift cards won’t work on the net because they also run an address check. Most of the gift cards won’t allow you to put in that information. I know Paypal does that check.

  If you have cash and find a host in your local area of Toronto, I am sure you can run over there or go to a local bank and wire transfer the money or Money Order your cash to anywhere in the world.

  And there are sites where you can buy temporary charge card type of things for one off transactions. Might help your folks as well. Although maybe not :)…………..

  The address issue runs into that again with those cards.
