    Hi,

It sounds like you want to use a custom domain name on your WordPress.com site.

So instead of your blog address being xclusivejam.wordpress.com, you want it to be something like xclusivejam.com — is that correct?

Once I know for sure, I’ll be happy to help you out.

    Hi,

If you would like to use a domain you already own here on WordPress.com all you need to do is “map” your existing domain to your WordPress.com site with Domain Mapping. There is more information about the process on this page:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Alternatively if you don’t already own a domain, you can register a new domain on WordPress.com:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/register-domain/

Come back to me if you have any questions.

    HI,

won’t it affect the hosting I did wit #web.com ,or is their a way I can link the host or request a refund from web.com n then host wit wordpress.com.

Do you currently have a site hosted with web.com? Or did you just purchase the domain from them?

If you decide to use the domain here on WordPress.com, here is how your site will be set up:

Your site (xclusivejam.wordpress.com) is hosted by WordPress.com — so you don’t need to worry about hosting.

The domain will remain in your web.com account (if that’s where you originally registered it) and you can use Domain Mapping to connect it to your WordPress.com site.

Upgrading to the Premium plan will enable you to map your domain from web.com to use on WordPress.com.

Am sorry if my questions are too much bt I just can’t do it alone

That’s fine, I’m happy to go through it with you :)
