Hosting a .gr domain?

  Hello, we currently have our content on a something.wordpress.com and want to have a something.domain.gr that will be hosted on WordPress. Is that possible?

  Plus, we would like to know if our current content on something.wordpress.com can be imported to something.domain.gr that will be hosted on Wordpres.

  I’m pretty sure that domain can’t be registered here at WordPress.com or transferred here as it isn’t on this list: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/
  I’ve tagged this thread for staff to confirm though.
  You could purchase a .gr domain elsewhere and map it to the existing .wordpress.com site by upgrading it to a Personal plan or higher.

  Hi there,

  If you already own that .gr domain, then you map your WordPress.com site to a subdomain of it. For example:

  yourwordpressdotcomsite.yourdomain.gr

  Please note that this way your subdomain site will be hosted with us on WordPress.com. If you want to host it elsewhere using the open-source WordPress.org software, please contact the hosting provider of your choice.
