Hosting a site
-
I have created this site appletoastmasters.wordpress.com and I now want to host it – i have purchased a hosting service which currently hosts my two other non-wordpress sites (appletoastmasters.com and apscannanore.org).
How can I host this new site without the “.wordpress.” in the name.
Any help and guidance will be appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will have to export the blog from here, install software from WordPress.org in the other web space, purchase a domain name, connect it to that web space, and Import the export file into there.
The Import and export functions are on the tools page of the dashboard. Export from the dashboard of http://applestoastmasters.wordpress.com/ and import on the dashboard of your other site.

Or you can stay hosted here and map the domain name to the blog here

Thank you raincoaster & auxclass
I chose the second option and Mapped the site. However, when I open it in the browser, it shows the menu items as DUPLICATED (there are two HOMEs, two BLOGs, two ABOUT USs and so on..)
How do i get rid of this? Any idea what have I done wrong?

Are you using a custom menu? If so, edit it. If not, report back because this is a bug and we’ll need staff to fix it.

Yes I created this custom menu – for some reason all the buttons got duplicated as I mapped the two URLs. Upon deleting and creating the menu again, it once again duplicated the “Main page” button.
Please fix this if it is a bug. Thank you.
