  I want to move my wordpress.org site from it’s current host to wordpress.com. I created an account. Other than exporting and importing, do I need to install the same plugins? theme etc first?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sites hosted at WordPress.com cannot install plugins or themes. (Only self-hosted WordPress can.) Many plugin functions are built in to the WordPress.com system. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  You can use themes listed here: https://wordpress.com/themes/
