Hosting blog on my domain

    Hello. I recently purchased a domain name to use for a new blog. I have heard from everyone that WordPress is by far the best site to use for your blog, but I don’t want wordpress.com at the end of my new domain. Before I officially sign-up for an account, I want to make sure I will be able to purchase an account, and have it pointed to my new domain.

    Yes this is possible but will require upgrading to one of the plans listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Free sites on WordPress.com do not have the option to use a custom address, but you can do it by upgrading. If you do not have a domain already then you can register one free (for the first year) under your plan.

    If you already have a domain, you can transfer it here for free under your plan instead.
