  Hi, I just purchased a domain name on Google Domains, and I am trying to set up a website on WordPress. I am trying to figure out if paying the $18/yr for transferring the domain hosting to WordPress will also include the cost to host the website?

  If you want to host your Website on WordPress.com then you need to be on paid plans so that you can also ass custom domain to your site.
