Hosting, Email, Domains

Hi folks. I’m looking to beef up my side business website. I own a URL and 2 related custom email accounts through Google. I’m thinking of going premium with WordPress, but curious about hosting etc and keeping costs down. Does WordPress Premium give me the option to transfer the url and emails to my WP account and provide basic hosting? Should I just maintain the Google ownership? Should I use WP for design purposes and use another hosting service such as Hostgator or other url, email, and hosting needs? Don’t need huge amounts of space. Small, indie game developer and when/if products become for sale, likely redirect to third party.

  • Hi there,

If you upgrade to any of our paid plans you’ll be able to transfer both your domains and host your sites (hosting is included).

As for your email, since it’s already hosted by Google, you can leave it with them as we’re also offering email hosting through them.

If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
