Hosting fee?

  This is a bit embarrassing, but I host my website as a free blog. I don’t know this: do I pay an annual hosting fee for it as my website?
  You can tell how good I am with my personal bookkeeping!

  I’m wanting to recommend a website/blog to a friend, and am trying to gather all costs.

  No need to be embarrassed! If your website address includes “wordpress.com,” such as http://lmighton.wordpress.com/, then your site hosting is completely free.

  There are several paid upgrades available that come with a variety of other features if the free plan doesn’t have everything you need:
