Hosting my domain and using wordpress

    Hello,

    I have a problem, I recently purchased a web domain, and I was thinking of hosting it on wordpress instead of my domain’s company. Would that be possible if subscribe to one of the wordpress plans. Im also using Muse to build the website. Do help if you know or have been through the same. Cheers!

    Hi there,

    To use the domain with your WordPress.com site you’ll need to purchase one of our plans, yes, and then add the domain mapping upgrade:

    Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)

    Im also using Muse to build the website

    Are you speaking of Adobe Muse? Or a WordPress theme called Muse? If it’s a WordPress theme, you should be able to use it here if you upgrade to the WordPress.com Business Plan. On all other plans you can only use the themes listed under My Site ->Themes.

    Adobe Muse is a completely different system from WordPress. While it appears there are some plugins and services that will allow you to use Adobe Muse with a WordPress site, I have no idea if it would work with WordPress.com, and even then you’ll still need the Business Plan to try it.
