Hosting on GoDaddy but want to upload theme

  Before I decided I wanted a WordPress Site, I bought my domain at GoDaddy. I then mapped the domain here but I see that if the site is hosted elsewhere, we are not able to upload WordPress themes. Is this true? If so, how can I host the domain that I want here if I already host it elsewhere.

  I think you’ve got it a bit reverse there. ;)

  Themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

  So, your blog needs to be hosted elsewhere (like with GoDaddy) to upload themes.

  You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard. If you are CSS-savvy, you may want to look into purchasing the Custom CSS Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:
