  If I set up a website using a personal plan (£3pm) and begin working on the site, i.e. securing links and adding content to the site is it possible to upgrade the plan mid way through, to a small business plan (£20 pm.) Will I retain all of the links I’ve secured and all of the effort on my part?

  Yes you can upgrade to a higher plan without upsetting existing content (just adding extra features) and as long as you aren’t too close to the expiry of the first plan you should just be charged the difference between the two.
  Note upgrades are charged annually in advance, not monthly.
