  Hi, i have built my site on wordpress and curious to know about the below aspects on hosting the site to move further.

  1. Does wordpress has its own hosting platform or does it use a third party hosting platform.
  2. Are the hosting charges included in the paid plans from wordpress. Is there any annual renewal charges for the same as domain renewal charges.

  Appreciate if one could throw some light on the above queries. Looking forward.

  If you create a site on WordPress.com it is hosted by us. Hosting is included in any of our plans, here you can read more about the features of all of them:

  All our subscriptions are charged on a yearly basis so, if you do not disable the auto-renewal, you will be charged again 30 days before the subscription expires:

  https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/
