hosting recovery

  I let my website/blog lapse but kept my domain name. I there a way to recover it? I am desperate, it had letters to my sons on it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Was your site hosted here at WordPress.com? Did you delete the content? I see a site here at WordPress.com but no content.

  Yes but I never deleted it. I let my hosting lapse and recently started to create a new one. There is no content on the new one. I want to recover my old content from 2017.

  Hm. I see you’re logged in with the username thompsontwinsmom (love the band, btw :) – were you using another username for the confessionsofarecoveringmomaholic site? Can you log in with the username confessionsofarecoveringmomaholic?

  As I understand it, no site content is automatically deleted from WordPress.com, that is a user-initiated action.

  You say you let your hosting lapse, do you mean your domain name? Or did you have the content hosted somewhere else besides WordPress.com?
