  I recently paid WordPress.com to register my domain name, but have not picked a company to host the website yet. However, I can access the website outside the network I created it in. Does that mean WordPress.com is hosting my website temporarily? Do they host the website for you without an additional cost for choosing them to register the domain name? If I still need to choose a company to host the site, can you recommend a few that are compatible with WordPress.com? Thanks

  what is the name you paid WordPress.COM for? Did you also buy domain mapping (required to use a custom domain name – displays the custom domain name when people visit your site)
