Hosting the Blog at my site

  is there a way to host the blog at my site, yet maintain the ease of updating and whatnot? I dont have alot of skill in webpages so dont want to fuss with all the design and updating and everything else. Blogger lets you host a blogspot blog at your domain (blog.yourdomain.com) but maintains all the ease of updating it.. does wordpress have a feature like this? because wordpress is far and away better and more attractive. let me know please

  If you have your own website/hosting package somewhere outside of the WordPress domain, you can easily install WordPress there. The interface and functionality is the same.

  Simply download WordPress and upload it to your site. The instructions were pretty simple to follow.

  The self-hosted version of wordpress is available at this other wordpress site: http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . That is also where you should inquire about questions regarding self-hosted blogs.

  You can use the Domain Upgrade to do a url like blog.yourdomain.com and keep the actual guts of the blog itself here at WordPress.com. You don’t need to install anything. Just follow the Domain Upgrade instructions in the FAQ.
