hosting through HostGator

    I created a temp WP site and registered, just to familiarize myself with site. Created a coule of pages, but I did not publish. I went through HostGator and paid for hosting, but cannot find where to link my site name so that my pages are published. Help!

    You are referring to the WordPress.com site at elmonterreybrands.wordpress.com yes?

    To clarify, HostGator is a competitor if you will (we both provide WordPress sites) so we do not have a direct connection with their service.

    To move your WordPress.com site to HostGator you will need to “export” it by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/export/

    Your HostGator site will have an import option on their end you can use to import your WordPress.com content. Hope this helps!
