  i want to host my blog onto a domain name I have already purchased. how do i do that? thanks in advance, new blogger

  To map an existing domain (one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog follow these instructions (if you already have a domain that you registered elsewhere), and you want to map that domain to your .wordpress.com blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  If I started a blog or website on WordPress.com, do I still have to sign up for hosting in another hosting company.
