Hosting website on subdomain of another domain

    Hi there

    I want my blog to be hosted with wordpress but for it to be accessible via blog.bargainmax.co.uk

    So any posts can be accessed via blog.bargainmax.co.uk/example-post-1/

    How is this possible?

    I think it would be helpful for us to know the backstory on why you are trying to accomplish this. Can you tell us the story of why you want to do this with some detailed description please?

    Hi

    So our company is bargainmax.co.uk and we want to install a blog so we can post regular blog content for our audience.

    We don’t want to install wordpress on our server due to security reasons. The company was hacked a few years ago and the culprit used a wordpress vulnerability to access our server.

    We’d like the blog hosted on wordpress.com BUT people can access it via https://blog.bargainmax.co.uk

    I hope that makes sense :)

    Hi there, easy enough if you own the domain.

    Have a look at our support guide to mapping your WPcom site to a subdomain:

    Kindly note that mapping a domain or subdomain does require at least the Personal upgrade plan. https://wordpress.com/pricing/ The Personal plan also gives you direct access to support via LiveChat and email as well as removing all WPcom advertising from your site (which free sites have as a part of the freemium model).
