Hotjar

What is this Hotjar popup on the sign in page? Is it malware?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
Are you able to grab a screen shot of what you are seeing? I should be able to confirm that it is ours and not malware with that screen shot. You can add it to your media library on the site listed above.

It was there again this morning, but seems to have disappeared. It was just a pop-up from the lower right corner of the sign-in page.
It asked a few questions like “Have you signed up with Hotjar?” I don’t even know what that is, or how it would benefit my personal blog.
But I do know that pop-ups are very annoying.

Hi there,
Is this if you go directly to the login page at https://wordpress.com/log-in? Or somewhere else?
We use Hotjar for polls and tracking on several of our landing pages people get sent to when they click on our ads elsewhere on the web, but we’re not aware of any polls running on the login page. Can you please tell us the exact URL of the page where you saw this? If you see it again, also please take a screen shot. Then we can tell you for sure.
The “Have you signed up with Hotjar” text is just that service’s own attribution, similar to the WordPress.com attribution we show in the site footer for sites.

Thank you, yes, that’s just a survey. You should see a question rather than just the hotjar attribution, though, so if you see it again, please get a screenshot and upload it via wordpress.com/media. Thank you!
