Hotlinking from another site
-
I have a small game website, and an Hungarian piracy site has been using tons of my blog’s bandwidth by linking directly to my images. Is there anyway to combat this? I don’t have the premium version of WordPress. I know it’s free for me, but it would be nice to have my site stats at the correct number.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Be aware that you don’t pay for bandwidth here. None of us do.
What’s best for your wordpress.com hosted blog is watermarking your images or not placing any images and/or text you don’t want stolen on the internet at all. http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2007/10/19/watermark-your-blog-images/ See also http://en.support.wordpress.com/prevent-content-theft/
If you use the Duotone theme right click is disabled via CSS but that’s not available on any other themes. This is because anyone can find instructions on the internet and get around it in less than 20 seconds flat.
For clarity you can read what Staff said here about Duotone https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-disable-right-click-on-photos?replies=5#post-1659713 but in the end the effect still means the answer is the same one I posted above.

Thanks timethief, I appreciate it. I don’t mind that my pictures (or even my game) is being pirated, I just wanted to know if WordPress.com had a policy on hotlinking. If it doesn’t bother them, it doesn’t bother me! It still would be nice to have accurate stats since every image view on this piracy site inflates my site views, but it’s not a big deal.
