Hotspots

  Hi! One question. Does wordpress support hostspots (http://www.developingwebs.net/dreamweaver/imagemap.php)?
  Because I would like to add picture with hotspots in one of my posts and i can’t do it.
  html code was generated in dreamweaver, but it disappears when i hit publish button.

  WordPress.com blogs only display images that are already in webspace and in places like Photobucket that support hotlinking. I don’t know if hostspots allows hotlinking.

  Why not copy the image, upload it in your WordPress.com space, and use that?

  A link to the post which is messing up for you is always helpful. As it is, we can’t even see your blog, because your username isn’t linked to it.

  All pictures are hosted online.
  I would just like to add code above the picture in my post.

  Is it possible or am i doing something wrong?

  The map tag is not supported and is removed from all user input. Here’s the FAQ on what tags are allowed here at wp.com:

  Allowed HTML tags

  Please note that regular wordpress allows them, not just the wordpress multiuser install that is run here. (You asked if wordpress allows it, not wp.com. Just to clarify.)
