Houzz

Can I share my blog to my Houzz account?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you trying to embed something from Houzz here on your WordPress.com site? Or the other way around?

I think I may be misreading the ‘Add new service’ link in the Settings/Sharing section: I’m trying to add Houzz here, and using the links to logos that Houzz provides on its site. But perhaps the only services you can add on WordPress are the ones they have enabled? If this is the case I will just link to Houzz through the sidebar.
Any advice you can offer much appreciated.
Thanks! kate -
Can you tell me the specific information you’re trying to plug into those text boxes? That tool is meant to be used to create buttons for services we do not have enabled, so you should be able to do this.

This is the url for my Houzz pages
http://www.houzz.co.uk/pro/katejury/oxford-garden-partnersThis is the sharing url for the icon
<table style=”width: 181px;” cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″><tr><td><img src=”http://st.houzz.com/static_en-GB/badge181_25.png” alt=”Remodeling and Home Design” width=”181″ height=”25″ border=”0″ /></td></tr></table>So, I copy and paste these into the relevant boxes in the add new service dialog, but nothing happens.
Thanks for your help. -
Thanks for that info! I think this sharing feature isn’t quite what you’re looking for. This feature is meant to create a button next to say the “Facebook” sharing button at the bottom of your posts so that a person can create a new post on Facebook with a link to the post on your site.
It sounds like you want to add a button so people can go to your Houzz site and follow you there? If this is correct, I think an Image widget will serve you best:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
If you’d like to use the “Featured on Houzz” image you linked to above, copy this link and put it into the Image Widget under “Image URL”
Then add your Houzz site URL as the “Link URL”.
