Hover over colour

    Please can someone try and help me with some css. On my site http://www.lawrencehulsephotography.com when you hover over the drop down menus in the navigation bar the background turns white which means you can’t see/read the text (as it is white). I’ve tried finding the code in my css but when I change it to show red (for example) it does not change the website appearance. I’m not even sure which style sheet I need to change as when I inspect the page I can see it seems to be reading from many sources (kirki and screen.css?). Many thanks for any help or pointers with this.

    Hi @littletris, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forum are for those hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from Theme Author or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

    The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    I took a quick look at your site and see you have the background color reworked. What I might suggest is to set a white hover color for the top level menu items with the following custom CSS.

    #menu_wrapper div .nav li > a:hover {
      color: #fff !important;
    }

    Also, with some of your images, it is nearly impossible to read the menu item labels, so you might want to think about some other color that gives higher contrast on all the images.
