Hover over text

  I was wondering if it is possible to have text show up when you hover over other text. I know you can do that with images (although I am new to wordpress and have yet to figure out the easiest way to do that here) but was wondering if you can do that for text. I am making a site for both spanish and english speakers (spanish project) and was wondering if i could make my text have hover text with the english translation.
