Hover over widgets icon and SAYS “WIDGETS ”

Anyone here knows how to change the Title Attribute of the Widget Icon? I’m using the Hexa theme if that makes any difference! CheersThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Where do you find a widgets icon?
Editing the title of any WordPress.com widget is a simple matter, if that’s what the request is. The theme applied is irrelevant. See the Adding and Configuring Widgets section of the Widgets support page. Basically, for previously created widgets, you just open the widget you want to edit at Customize > Widgets, edit the title and whatever else you’d like to change, and then save the edit.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I’ve now found the widgets icon on your site and understand your request. I presume that the title applied to that widget is part of the design of the theme and not under the control of the user. However I might be wrong again. There might be someway of editing it via CSS customization. I’ll tag the topic for staff attention.

Hi @ginasutendale, the gear icon is a symbol for widgets. It has to be clicked to access the widget area, so it’s definitely supposed to be called Widgets.
If you’ll let us know what you hoped to call it instead, we’ll pass that feedback along, or if you don’t want a hidden widget area we may be able to recommend a different theme instead.

Yeah, I don’t know, usually the little Gear icons are named “tools” but that wouldn’t work on my site anyway. I’ll upgrade to the business version and try to name it Location and Contact using CSS, again, I appreciate your help! -
I think you’re correct :/ I know it’s such a small thing but I wanted to personalize the whole theme!!! Thanks for replying
