hovering over a Picture

  went hovering over a Picture can i make it go a different colour or something so it is obvious that they are choosing an option.
  I would really appreciate some help.

  Hi there,

  I’m creating a hover effect, where your images in posts/pages would be emphasized with a shadow and border:

  .entry-content img:hover {
  -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #000;
  -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #000;
  box-shadow: 0 0 5px #000;
  }

  Should work on all major browsers and Internet Explorer 9+. :)
