How 2 configure Skylark so there's a Summary of most recent posts on front page?

  On the front page of my blog, I would like a Summary of the most recent 4-6 posts with image, as opposed to Full Text, but seems this feature is only available for Syndication Feed, or is this feature specific to particular blog Themes. My current blog Theme is Skylark.

  Is it possible to configure the above Reading Setting for Skylark?
  If not, which free and/or premium themes support this reading setting?

  Hi there,

  If you’d like to set up your blog to show excerpts of certain posts like in the Skylark demo, you can do that with the theme’s Showcase page template. There is a guide for setting up that template for your blog here: Skylark theme

  If you’d like to show excerpts of your posts without using the Showcase page template, you can do that with the More Tag. You can insert that tag into any blog post, and only the text before the tag will appear on your blog page. Visitors can then click through to read the full post.
