How 2 remove menu over header?

  Namaste` Dear WordPress Techie~

  How do I remove the menu at the top of my header?

  I love this template…www.thedowsingdeva.com, but I abhor having the menu sitting heavy, front and center, on top of my header.

  I have this same desire for http://www.lightheartretreat.com.

  You might want to try to remove the menu items in your custom menu. Please review this guide to learn more about custom menus.

  Thanks for your help. I removed the old menu. I used the link option and put # in to create headers of menu items. I checked off the option to place this new menu at the top and bottom of the page. The old jumble disappeared.

  I did not find the directions in the guide to be clear. I experimented and got lucky. This kind of stuff needs to be spelled out for such users as myself. Do you test drive these guides on users who are not technically savvy?

  The menu is a pretty important item to have ease and grace with and understanding of when the blog site is your acting website.
