We have no idea, because you haven’t given us any information. Does your avatar appear on your blog? How long ago did you upload it, and using what technique, on which page?
Your first post should be directed to staff, via the Contact Support form. Volunteers in the forum didn’t design WordPress and can’t respond.

Oh, by the way, a little off topic (okay, it’s completely random), but really good job integrating the wp.com top bar into your website design, it really looks as if it’s part of it, rather than something that’s just up there.

If you ever published the material, search engines caught it then. I haven’t seen any evidence they’re spidering the Trash.
