How add embedded youtube videos, side by side, with captions?
-
I am a BEGINNER…
I have a simple page that I want to display videos on.
Not knowing what to do, I figured out how to create a table, then embed the videos using the code that is present there now.I would like to be able to put captions on top or bottom of each video.
Here is the link to the page I am referencing.

I don’t want the videos in the sidebar, I want them on the page. Not sure if I should be using some widget or plugin for this.
Thanks, this place is amazing!

I don’t think you can do captions or anything like it on youtubes, but have a look at theses two posts by Panos on modifying and positioning shortcode objects like youtube videos.

You can do this, but it’s an ambitious thing for a beginner to do.
You need to make a table in HTML with four cells: one for each YouTube and one for each Caption. There are websites you can google that will help you with the code for those.
You’ll find it MUCH simpler, if you’re not used to code, to just put them one above another, centered.
