How add slider?
-
I’ve just changed to the Baskerville 2 theme because it shows a slider in the example but I can’t see how to do it because I can’t add plugins. I am the admin as there’s only me but still can’t access plugins – can anyone help please.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The slider displayed on the homepage and on some archive pages of the Baskerville 2 demo, is evidently automatically generated, in accordance with the theme design, for posts featuring a gallery. It may also depend upon choosing the gallery type from among the post format options.
Regardless of the theme selected, you may add a slideshow to any post or page using the Slideshow Block. Plugins aren’t required to create and display sliders/slideshows in a post or page. However, whether a slideshow displays, when used in a post, as a slideshow on the blog page or archive pages (under certain conditions), may depend, in part, on choosing the gallery post format.

Hello,
Thank you so much that’s really helped. I had a look and see what you mean and how to do it, at least in theory!
May I ask you another question please?
I put a ‘coming soon’ note on my site because I want to make a lot of changes but when I’d done it and clicked published then went to my home page I couldn’t see it so I deleted it.
Should I be able to see ‘coming soon’ or is it only visible to visitors?
thanks again for your support
