How add widgets to "downbar" (f.ex http://ericephoto.wordpress.com/)?

  Hello guys,

  I created my very first blog last month. I’m using Nishita theme, and I love it. There is still some problems what I need to fix.

  I found this amazing Nishita- based blog:
  http://ericephoto.wordpress.com/

  If you scroll down Eric’s page you can find some widgets from bottom. So how I can do that? I don’t want to use sidebars. My goal is to place widgets/tools in the top menu or “downbar” like Erik has done.

  The theme Nishita supports widget areas at the bottom of the theme (called the footer). If you want a layout similar to that, you’ll need to choose that theme or another that supports footer widgets.
