How am I able to stop comments from being posted? Or stop getting notifications about them?

I want to stop getting notifications from ‘comments’ that are made on my site. Most of the comments I believe are from the Ukraine and I get over 300 a day! A friend set this site up for me years ago and I don’t even use it. I mainly use other social media platforms as I’m not tech savvy enough to keep posting on this.
