How am I supposed to create a free page??

    What did you change that made it impossible to create a free page? Not only that, but I can’t find the option to ask WordPress directly, when I follow the ‘support’ links it only directs to the forums.

    I’ve used WP for years and you changed something. I’m so frustrated I’m ready to quit and find someone else. I already have an account and blog, I want to add a new site. I go through all the setup then I get to the domain page. I’m presented with a bunch of paid plans, nothing free. I used to be able to type a name like ‘Blabahblah’ and it would give me the free option of ‘Blabahblah.wordpress.com’ but no longer. That’s not there anymore. The only thing that says FREE is some random made up bizarre title, for example ‘blablah.movie.blog’ and when I click on it, it just reloads the page.

    Maybe I’m missing something but even so, this is WP’s fault and extremely frustrated. It used to be so easy, now apparently they want to make it seem like this is only a paid service. Someone help me, because this is so upsetting that I’m ready to quit WordPress, maybe check out Wix or one of those. Fix these issues, wordpress. This is crazy, let me easily contact you, not just give me ‘ask in the forums’ and no chat/email address to contact you. This is so ridiculous. Help!!

    Try this. Go to https://wordpress.com/start/free/site-type and pick either the Business or Professional options. That should get you a wordpress.com address.

    Just keep selecting the free site options and when you get to the choose your site address step, you might have to find something unique that’s not taken so that the address doesn’t have a bunch of numbers added to it.
