How an invited administrator connects with existing website

  I have been invited to administer an existing site but accepting the invitation does not link to the site

  Hi there,
  1. What is the URL of the blog you were invited to contribute to please?

  2. Will you also confirm which username account and associated email address was sent the invitation in the case that you have more than one?

  Here is what the relevant support doc states:

  They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.

  Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.

  The software will redact ie. HIDE the email address so only Staff can see it. After you provide that information re: answer to 1 & 2 please modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff attention, and subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond.

  Logged into WordPress account then went back and accepted the invitation and was linked to the site
