How and where do you get a header for your page?
-
Hi,
I notice a lot of people have really cool headers for their page and I don’t know where they get them.
I am a writer and thought I could “jazz” up my page a little bit but am a novice when it comes to techno things.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great and much appreciated! :)
Thanks,

There are free headers and other free images online, and any image can be made into a header by using image editing software. Have you typed “free headers for blogs” into Google search? I’m positive you will get results if you do.

Hi again!
After searching for over an hour, I am still trying to locate the proper image!
I am looking for a dark, vampire, gothic scene or one of old parchment with deep browns and has a creepy and vintage look.
Any adivice on these sites?
Thanks again for your help! :)

Also look on Flickr.com; if you use the Advanced Search, you can find creative commons licensed photos that you can use under certain circumstances, eg with attribution etc. Attribution in a text widget should suffice for a header image.

Thanks everyone!
Can I use a photo and create a header? I found a really cool one that I like and want to use it as my header.
Thanks again! :)

If the photo is made available for free use on non-commercial sites then the answer is yes. Check the Terms of Use as this is a copyright issue.
