How and where to access dashboard
-
why doesn’t the dashboard option display on my website. I have to enter the site (after struggling to find it) to actually go to the dashboard. Beforehand I was just using I think what they call the beep beep boop link to add posts etc. where I lost my saved drafts or can’t seem to find it. All the answers I read regarding this refers to dashboard which I can’t seem to access easily?
I’m using mydomain.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can access Beep beep boop dashboard by logging into this link: https://wordpress.com/sites
Your classic dashboard is at https://justavere.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Thanks, so there is no way I can access the classic dashboard from my blog?
Also, where can I find drafts saved in beep beep boop dashboard?
-
Your can access your classic dashboard here: https://justavere.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Could you clarify what do you mean by accessing dashboard from blog? But you don’t need to worry about this though.Your drafts in beep beep boop dashboard are here: https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts/justavere.wordpress.com

Thanks
As long as I know where to find everything
However, the draft I saved doesn’t seem to appear in link you sent?
-
That could mean the draft is not saved or you saved the draft for a different blog or account, if you have multiple accounts.

As a last resort, could you check the information in this guide and see if you can find your post using browser restore: https://en.support.wordpress.com/autosave/
-
thanks
I tried looking but couldn’t find it. The support doc says it will show when editing post but there is no post to edit?
Thanks for your help

Actually I thought of it before suggesting this you, but somehow missed it. You are correct, here is no post to edit it.
Anyhow, hopefully it won’t be lost next time.
