how are people subscribing ?

Hey, I have a site that I keep getting emails from wordpess saying ‘new user registration’ HOw are they subscribing and are they for real or just spam? I don’t have an optin form right now and I’m still getting it.

New user registration emails would be for a site other than one hosted here. It sounds like the blog address above isn’t the right one, and you have a self hosted blog with registration enabled.
If so, you actually need help for a WordPress powered site and not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
