how backup my blog before converting to responsive theme?

  My business blog is complex (has links that actually go to other blogs of mine) as well as many other features that are all visibly accessible from the home page. I’ve been advised to change to a responsive theme and that it is wisest to backup the existing blog before making that change. How do I backup a .com blog? I don’t feel like ignoring that step!

  I don’t think you need to back up a wordpress.com site.
