How blog posts appear on blog page

    I was wondering if there was a way to make my blog posts appear as just the title and the image in my blog page stream, where you have to click on the title or image to read the post. Right now, when I click my “blog” link, it takes me straight to my entire post.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

    On the Alves theme there isn’t an option at Customize to display excerpts, however long or short, instead of full posts. So the way to produce the result you’ve described is to use a More Block inserted into each post that you want truncated on the blog and archives pages.

    Alternatively, you may insert a Blog Posts Block into a static page, and provide a link to the page in your menu. In a blog posts block you may choose the number of posts to display, and to display or not display an excerpt. The post titles and featured images displayed in the block will link to the corresponding posts.
