How can a commenter stop receiving emails?

  One of the people who wrote a comment and now does not want to be notified every time someone writes a comment.

  How do I help them? When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get
  several e-mails with the same comment.

  Is there any way you can remove people from that service?

  1. Has she tried clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the emails she receives?
  2. Have she tried visiting the post you subscribed to receive comments from and clicking that same button again to unsubscribe?
