    Hello there,

On the Support page, the post “prevent content theft” mentions th epossibility to add a Copyscape banner to the website. Is it possible to add the HTML code of the banner within wordpress.com?

How exactly could this be done using CSS? I tried copying it there, it does not work so I guess I’m doing something wrong…:)

    Thank you very much!

    Warm regards,

  • Hi Alina,

Copyscape banners listed here can be added without the need of CSS.

You just have to add a text widget to your sidebar or footer (Customize > Widgets > Footer), copy the HTML code from copyscape and paste it in the widget you just created.

The banner will show up, which you can verify in the Customizer’s preview as well. :)
