How can a post disappear?

Hello, I had posted a post last night, I had been working on it for a few days before hand, it was published and up for a few hours, people had read and liked it and then this morning I look and it is no where to be found, there’s the old draft from a few days ago but the current post is no where, I check multiple times in the trash, which is empty, reloaded the site and it’s still nowhere. I’m extremely frustrated and confused, I’ve never had this happen before and I’d like some answers and help, if it is at all possible to get it back.

Is that before or after you’ve noticed its disappearance?
Did you restore it from trash?There are quire a few revisions of the (now draft) post in question, and you can use the post revisions system to restore another revision if you think it is more complete:

Yay that would probably have been around the time I noticed it, I would have restored it from the trash if it was there, the draft is not complete, and I looked at it multiple times yesterday because I was so confused where the post went, I’ve been doing a lot of this on mobile the past day too
